About Me

Hi, I’m Trystan Conway.

I’m a physiotherapist turned consultant. I co-founded and scaled a national Allied Health provider to 300+ clinicians, and now I help providers across the sector navigate reform, strengthen their operations and make better decisions.

I sit between providers, government and the people they serve. My advice is independent, confidential and grounded in lived experience.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • A 20-minute strategy call. I'll ask about your organisation, your biggest challenge and what you've already tried. From there, I recommend one engagement model suited to your situation — whether that's advisory, ad hoc consulting or an ongoing retainer.

  • Mentoring is reactive. You bring the questions, I help you think. A retainer is an ongoing relationship where I carry context about your business, contribute proactively and support decisions and delivery over time. Many retainer clients started with a single mentoring session and found they needed more continuity.

  • I co-founded and scaled a national Allied Health provider to 300+ clinicians and $15M+ in revenue. I also work across 75+ providers at any given time, giving me a real-time view of what's working across the sector. That combination of founder experience and current pattern-matching is hard to replicate.

  • Mentoring sessions start at $330 + GST for a 60 min session. Ad Hoc consulting at $275 + GST per hour. Retainers range from $1,500 to $5,500+ per month depending on the level of involvement. Projects and ad hoc consulting are scoped individually. I'm transparent about pricing and there are no lock-in contracts.

  • Yes. I work across both NDIS and aged care regulatory environments and track reforms closely. This includes Support at Home pricing and service models, NDIS registration and verification, clinical governance under the Aged Care Act 2024 and workforce planning under new regulatory models.

  • Both. My clients range from sole practitioners through to large national NFPs, government teams and Primary Health Networks. The engagement model varies but the approach is the same: independent, evidence-based advice grounded in operational reality.

  • Support at Home pricing and associated provider obligations under the Aged Care Act 2024, NDIS registration reform, Thriving Kids commissioning changes for early childhood and ongoing workforce pressures. I publish regular analysis on these reforms through my newsletter and blog.

  • Clarity on strategic priorities, stronger financial and operational performance, improved leadership capability and a practical path forward. The aim is always to reduce guesswork and increase confidence in your decisions. Specific outcomes depend on the engagement but I'm happy to discuss what's realistic on a strategy call.
